I am high on the holidays at this point! My heart is bursting with God's provision of a Savior to save us from our sins. What a special time of year this is!
I thought you might enjoy seeing some pictures from last night's Christmas celebration at my parent's house.
Santa and Mrs. Claus paid us a visit! Aren't they the funniest? You'll notice, Hensley is even holding jingle bells. We ended the evening with an original version of Jingle Bells.
These 3 have Christmastime birthdays, so they were opening their birthday gifts.
Mom and Hensley look on with smiles.
A remote control Barbie Corvette, complete with a Barbie and a cardboard Ken.
Mom and Ashley laugh at the names of the pets for the pet daycare. Tasha Spaniel and Taylor Spaniel.
Maddox tries out his new REAL camera!
The guys fly Maddox's new helicopter.
Elf on the Shelf! This was the cardboard Ken that came in the Barbie Corvette, but we thought it looked more like Ellen Degeneres or Owen Wilson, who are look-a-likes in my book.
Snowman Pinata! This was really great! Mom individually wrapped ALL of our stocking gifts and labeled them with our names. When the pinata burst open, we had to go collect our gifts. She used this to illustrate how we are given the free gift of Jesus, but we have to accept him. Great analogy for kids (and adults)!
Merry Christmas, Y'all!
