A Very Good Friday, Indeed!

Happy Resurrection Weekend, Folks!

I hope that this post finds your mind centered on Christ's sacrifice and God's grace for you. I know that my heart has been worked over in a big way this week, and I continue to be in awe of the events that this weekend commemorates. Unbelievable sacrifice all for you and me. That's what it's about. That's the basis of God's love for us.

I met up with my family for a brief lunch at McAlister's today. Maddox was the official photographer of the event, so I thought that I'd share some of his handiwork with you.

First, would you just look at this plate of nachos? I ordered nachos. Yes, I eat nachos sometimes now. It was HUGE! And, they had olives on them. I detest olives, but I picked around them. We were just in shock at the sheer size of this plate, or platter, I should say.

And, this picture just cracks me up. I didn't go through all of Maddox's photos until I got home. Then, I saw this one. Obviously, he was more concerned with documenting the prayer, rather than actually praying it. Silly boy! Thankfully, Ashley and Chelsey had their hands sweetly clasped. :)

And, here's the talented photographer, himself. Isn't he the cutest lunch date that you ever did see?

Happy Easter, dear friends! May you enjoy your families this weekend, just as I will enjoy mine!
