"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven."
Ecclesiastes 3:1

I'm a seasonal kind of girl. I love the changing of the seasons, and I particularly love warm weather. My perfect day would be a low of 75 and a high of 90. I love the feeling of getting into a hot car, I love taking naps in the warm sun, and I adore sunlight. I'm a sun goddess at heart. Almost. :) I think hair is a prerequisite for being a goddess. :)

Anyway, as I was walking Gladys today, and enjoying some fresh air, I couldn't help but think about how healing springtime can be. After months and months of bitter cold and barren vegetation, finally there is growth. Things are changing. Plants are blooming. I can see evidence of what's been happening below the surface during the harsh winter months.

I continue to be in awe of God's growth in me. For several months, He's been growing His roots deep in me. The only warmth that I could find came from the warmth of the Son. But now, I can see those roots growing into beautiful displays of His glory.

Ahh, spring. There's just nothing like it.

(P.S. The photo has nothing to do with anything, other than a spring walk. Brian and I took the pups on a walk, and snapped a few pictures along the way. Don't they look like they're posed for a prom picture? Precious little pooches!)

You always did like the boy to be taller than the girl. Glad you posed them so that Vito is taller. :)

Amen to everything you said.
