I'm just busy...

Good Morning, Wonderful Ones!
I know I've been a little MIA for the past week or so. Please forgive me. Our world has been fast and furious, as I'm sure yours has, too. And, I'm actually laying in the bed posting from my phone right now.

I will try my best to get a full post later, but I wanted to ask you for your prayers this morning, but not for me.

You all know my precious niece, Hensley Grace. She is Brian and Ashley's little princess. If you don't remember her, go back to the Christmas posts and look for the cute little lady with ringlets.

Hensley is having kidney surgery in Dallas today around 9am. She has had kidney reflux for two years and it hasn't improved, so they are doing ureter reimplantation today. The procedure requires general anesthesia and an overnight stay in a children's hospital. So, you can imagine how her parents are feeling right about now.

Will you be their prayer warriors today? Will you lift them up like you've lifted me up?

Certainly, we trust God's perfect guiding hand for the surgeon. We trust Him with Hensley and the body he created perfectly, just for her.

And, I sure appreciate your support of me and my family. Not only do I love you, but they do, too.

More news to come...

Will be praying for Hensley, Lindsay. Caleb had surgery when he was 8 months old and I remember being so scared but feeling the Lord speak the words of Psalm 121 over me - He never sleeps nor slumbers and would be in complete control as I lifted my eyes to Him in trust.
Give my love to Brian and Ashley.

Praying for little Hensley and her parents. It is so hard to watch your child go through something like this. I will be praying for peace for her family as they wait.

My son had ureter reimplant surgery(3 uretere, as he had an extra) at the age of 2 as well. Although the post surgery cathing and all it entails can feel daunting...I can now report he is a 5'4" 6th grader and extremely healthy!
with prayers.

This is Ashley, Hensley's mom and Lindsey's sister. Thank you sweet supporters of Lindsey for taking the time to pray for Hensley today. We actually have had some lessening of the anxiety, but sitting here in the waiting room right now is hard. Thank you, Elizabeth, for your encouragement through Psalm 121. Perfect words that bring peace to my heart today!

I'm sorry that I didn't see this until the surgery is done, but I'm praying for healing and no discomfort for sweet Hensley. Also, for peace and strength for the rest of the family.
