Birthday Bonanzas

It seems like most of my family members have summer birthdays. We just run from one celebration to the next during those hot, sunny months. This weekend, we helped Lauren (my SIL) celebrate her 27th in style!

Lauren's husband, Josh, hosted a Black and White Party at their home. Don't you love Brian's shirt choice? Nothing like an undershirt with a tux. Trust me, he only dressed like this because we were going to his sister's party at her house. Normally, he takes great care in his clothing choices.
The birthday couple! It was a fondue party, so they turned their living room into a fondue buffet. Yum! Actually, you can imagine how hard it is for me to find a fondue that I can actually eat. I snacked on the fresh fruit and veggie dippers.
See, I told you he puts a lot of effort into his dress?
The following day, we had a family party for Lauren at my in-law's house. Judy prepared a wonderful meal of roast and all the tasty sides!

The birthday girl and her dad.
The men folk. For some reason, Brian had a fascination with watches this weekend. I bet he wore 5 different watches over the course of 2 days.

This was Brian's special gift to Lauren. Aren't you dying to know what's inside?

Donuts leftover from Sunday School! What a thoughtful guy!

The happy couple!
And, the yummy homemade ice cream that I can actually eat!!!

Aren't celebrations fun?
