My new favorite place

Whew! I am spent! Brian and I have been working our fingers to the bone this weekend to turn our dreams into a reality. That is always fun, but it can be a big challenge when funds are limited.

The courtyard was THE selling point for me when we looked at our house. I just love the complete privacy of the outdoor living space. But, it quickly turned into a bitter winter after we moved into the house. We let the space go, and it saddened me to look out at what used to be my favorite feature of the house.

Well, for several weeks, we've been working to redeem it. Finally, tonight, we got everything in place, and I couldn't be happier with the result.

Drumroll, please....................

If it looks like we moved our kitchen table outside, we did. We are weather sealing it, and using it for this space. It has never really fit well in our inside eating area, and I just love the way indoor furniture transitions for outside use.

We already had most of these items. Thank goodness! The flower beds were just planted yesterday, so they need several months of growth in order for them to look their very best.

But, I just got up from the hammock, and I kept thinking, "Now this is just what I wanted!"

Have a great week, y'all. I'm planning to do a lot of relaxing!
