A Success in my book!

I only have a second, so I'll be brief tonight. Aren't you glad? Sometimes I just get so wordy, and I can't seem to wrap up my posts. But tonight, I'm ready to take a shower and crawl in the bed, so I can read more of Crazy Love.

So, by the grace of God, today I was able to accomplish these things:

1. I was ABLE to get ready! And, I'm even learning to praise God for the blessing of health to do this! I've come a LONG way :)

2. I was ABLE to spend time with the Lord, meditating on His psalms and asking Him to hover over my day. And, He did!

3. I was ABLE to worship my way to work with my new praise and worship CD that a very sweet person sent to me in the mail. Packages and cards are worth living for. I can't wait to check the mail these days! And then, I get so disappointed if all I have is a stinky doctors' bill, and yes, I do mean doctors, plural.

4. I was ABLE to survive a day with 7-year-olds, mostly! I mean, I wasn't the best educator, but I was present, and that was enough for today.

5. I was ABLE to stop by the grocery store on my way home to pick up some necessities.

6. I was ABLE to clean up a sick dog and her sick crate.

7. I was ABLE to make a delicious dinner (quinoa taco salad - YUMMO!), and then I was ABLE to clean it up.

8. I was ABLE to do some work on the computer that had been hanging over my head.

9. I was ABLE to return many emails, phone calls, and texts from people who are very very dear to my heart, and who make my life so wonderfully special. Sometimes these things pile up on me, and it isn't because I don't care or appreciate the precious people. On the contrary, they are my world, but I get overwhelmed.

10. I was ABLE to make a lunch for my husband who works so hard to provide for me and my expensive habit of cancer :) (just a little joke. you gotta laugh at it!)

11. I was ABLE to drink 3 glasses of green tea, and this has been a goal for me!

12. I was ABLE to rejoice with a friend as she found out that her cancer is in remission! That's gonna be me very soon, people, so get your party pants on!!!

13. I was ABLE to sit down and rest, and praise God for all He has done.

What are you ABLE to do?

What a great post! I never think your posts are too wordy. I love them because they are always encouraging and refreshing.

Today I was ABLE to wake early and pray first thing before I started the day.

I know it is precious to be thankful to be able to do the small things in life. Have another great day tomorrow!

I think you had an amazing day! :)

I was able to go to class, study all afternoon, and do good on a test. Nothing like what you did, but it was still a good day.

I was able to sit down and read you blog.

I was able to thank god for my life and for yours.

I was able to go to bed praying for my family and yours.

I was able to smile, because of you.

Today, with your encouraging words and God's enormous grace, I was able to put some things in perspective. I was able to see progress in some areas at work. So thankful that you had a day full of ables.

What a great day you had! Not only were you ABLE to do all those things, but you actually did them!!

Thank you for this post. I was able to do many things today but I have been so stressed at work and only focusing on things I WASN'T able to get done. Tomorrow I will focus on everything I AM able to do and accomplish. I love your perspective on God and life, and it has really changed my perspective also. I look forward to your posts and you are never too wordy.. if anything I find myself wishing you would write more!! :)

You were able to do much more yesterday while whooping cancer's butt than I was. BRAVO! And I thought you'd like to know that you inspired me to stop by the store and grab a new stick of eyeliner last night as well :) Keep it up Lindsay-you are beating this!!!

You are such an inspiration to me and many others. I love seeing your smiling face coming down the hallway. I was ABLE to look at what I accomplished and not at what I didn't finish. Thank you Lord for being ABLE to carry Lindsey on your wings.
