My day in pictures.

It was another wonderful day, though totally different than yesterday. I stayed home for most of the day. And, it was awesome! I turned on the TV to the holiday music channel, and I just worked the day away. Unfortunately, last time we moved I had just finished 6 rounds of chemo, and I had NO energy. Because of this, and the fact that I knew we were in that house for a short period, I never really unpacked and got us organized. Well, I wouldn't recommend this. It made for a monster of a move this go round. Each box was a mishmash of junk from every room and all categories. It has been a nightmare to unpack! Well, slowly but surely and box by box, I've been eliminating the mess.

Here was my project for today - the hall closet:

After about an hour of diligent work, this was the finished product:
Just knowing that this closet is now usable and accessible as greatly increased my peace. Everything has a home, and I love that!

While I was working and unpacking, the dogs were doing this:
Aren't they the sweetest four pups that you've ever seen?
When Brian got home, we went to the grocery store to purchase the items that we need for our Thanksgiving cooking. We're both so high on the holidays that it is ridiculous!

Brian quickly began making the cornbread for the stuffing. I love it that he cooks. He is gifted and talented in so many ways!

And finally, I wanted to give you a glimpse into my rearranged living room. I like it SO much better now. Our sectional sofa (that I inherited from Brian), is very difficult to arrange, but I think that I found a workable solution. And, please don't mind the shelves. They are still a mess. That is one area that I haven't tackled yet. Electronics intimidate me.
Until tomorrow . . .

It's a good feeling to get things accomplished! Sounds like I'm like you, feel all together myself when my house is together!

Happy Thanksgiving!
