A new mission.

I'm on a new mission to post to my blog every singe day of the week (excluding weekends). I have found that when I don't use this creative outlet to discuss the ups and downs and ins and outs of our little life, then I start getting a bit...well, itchy. I need an avenue to divulge what's swimming around in my head. Even if no one reads it. Especially, if no one reads it. Sometimes I go back and read every single post from the blog's debut until now, and it is so fun for me to reminisce about what was on my mind at different points. So, it's the cheapest method of therapy for me. So, I'm making this my aim. We'll see how I do.

Enough about that.

We had a wonderful weekend. It went a little something like this:

- trip to Wal Mart on Friday night
-fudge cake and vanilla ice cream for dinner at 9:00. See, this is one sure fire sign that we are NOWHERE near ready for babies. You can't feed children dessert at 9:00 and call it dinner.
- Pajama day on Saturday. We were productive, but we didn't go anywhere and at 11:00pm, I changed from one gown to the next. This day at home was just what the doctor ordered. We've been blowing and going, and we both were feeling incredibly run down.
-church on Sunday, and another day finishing the chores that we didn't finish on Saturday. We capped off the day facilitating our Sacred Marriage Bible study at church.

So, that's my weekend in a nutshell. Not too glamorous but very good. Sometimes, it's just good to hibernate, to shut the world out, and keep the peace in. That's what we did, and we're better for it.

Check out NaBloPoMo (just google it). It started as an annual challenge to post every single day in the month of November. Now, it's ongoing.

And who says you can't feed a kid cake for dinner at 9pm? I've done it. ;)

Sometimes you need a quiet, relaxing weekend to recharge you!

I know it was a wonderful weekend. There's plenty of time for babies. You guys have been through so much in the past year you need time to just be "normal".
Blogging is a therapy outlet for me too. When I have a post swirling around in my head/heart and I don't get to at least get it started I feel anxious and rushed and frustrated and impatient. Thank you for being my inspiration.
