A Big Honor

Do you every wonder how others see you? Sometimes, people honor us in ways that we can't understand but we greatly appreciate. That happened to me this past weekend. I had the enormous privilege of sharing my story in a local magazine. On the day the issue came out, I had another honor of speaking at a Susan G. Komen Survivor Luncheon. I'll never understand why others consider me fit for occasions such as this, but nonetheless, I take the responsibility with great seriousness. There are so many women who have accomplished huge things in their lifetimes - most are wiser, classier, and wittier than I.

Isn't it interesting how the Lord leads us into ministry opportunities, in spite of ourselves, our flaws, and our insecurities?
