Wonderful Weekend

This weekend, Brian and I threw caution to the wind and got the heck outta dodge for the night. Earlier in the week, Brian's sister (Lauren) asked if we would like to go out of town with her husband and her. We're always up for a little adventure, so we agreed to go. Unfortuntately, the weather wasn't the most pleasant, so we mostly just ate and visited, but it was a great time away.

First stop - Mi Cocina Mexican Restaurant. It was great! Brian and I split chorizo queso and brisket tacos, and they were both wonderful!

We also stopped in Schakolad Chocolate Factory for some tasty treats! Surprisingly, the key lime truffle was my favorite.

Brian found a wonderful historic hotel for us to stay the night. It was located in the downtown district.

Getting out of town is so important in a marriage. I never realized that before being married. I look forward to the next time away with my husband.
