Woo Hoo!!!

I am ECSTATIC to report that tomorrow, Friday the 13th is my last chemo treatment! I can't even begin to tell you the relief, excitement, and just unbelievable bliss that has overcome me in the past few days. I truly cant believe that it's over. It's been hard. It's been frustrating. But, it is done!!! I'll probably be out of pocket for the next few days. There's a ton going on, on Pleasant Drive - chemo, moving, closing on our house, etc. etc. Keep us in your prayers!

Congratulations! This calls for an extra-special Valentine's Day celebration. And by "celebrating," I don't mean "moving boxes." :)

Take some time to enjoy the completion of this leg of the course. I'm going to stretch your race analogy a little further: My husband is an adventure racer (day-long mountain biking, trekking, paddling events). Between each leg of the race, the team comes back to the "Transition Area" (the TA) to change gear, plot the next part of the course, have some food and liquid. This time of rest and replenishment is short, but oh-so-crucial.

What I'm trying to say is that I hope you take a little time in your "transition area" to rest and replenish. You're acing this course, and you're an inspiration to many.
