Super Aunt to the Rescue!

There are many wonderful things about having family close by, and one of them just happens to be that we can help one another out when need be. Last Friday, Maddox (my nephew) couldn't go to day care because it was closed for teacher training. Don't dismay Super Aunt Lindsey was there to save the day! We had the best time together, as always. It was a dreary, rainy day, which our grass desperately needed, so we had to get outside at any point that we could.

Picking up sticks to give to Gladys.
Reading books that we checked out at our church library. Maddox LOVES books.
Eating a lunch of champions (PB&J and apple sauce) while watching TV.
Is there something on my face?
Making a Get Well Soon card for Nana.

Ready to play with all his fun stuff.
Drawing a pond with sidewalk chalk.
Who woulda thought that SpeedRacer makes a great chalk holder?
Walking Gladys. Sort of.
We never miss an opportunit to play at the playground across the street.

Ahh, what a fun time we had! It's such a blessing to play with a child.

Maddox is a love. That child is adorable.

When does school start back up? Getting the back-to-school jitters?

He looks JUST like his Pop. He is smart like his Pop. Handsome like his Pop and good natured like his Pop.

He is Darlin! When I saw the picture of the jelly smeared on his face I was thinking, "it doesn't get much cuter than this!" and then I saw the picture of him "walking" the dog. TOO cute! Yay for having family nearby (and being able to give them back at the end of the day!)

That is great that you are brave enough to do that. I think my sisters are still a little scared to do that. :(
Oh well when mine get older.
Your such a sweet heart.

He is such a cutie! I had the pleasure of babysitting an 18 month old little boy yesterday and it was so much fun. I makes me want a baby even more though!
