Video Queen

Y'all, I HATE video games. I don't like them, at all. In fact, my husband loves them and he has a Playstation and a Wii that he could play for days on end, but not me. No sirree!
Until, this game came along. Now, if you're around my age, you probably remember this game from our childhood. It was one of the first Nintendo games, and I liked it way back when, but I never owned it.
I have never wanted to be known as "that girl who plays video games". Usually, those girls are dorks and the same ones who like Star Wars and other spacey movies. That's not me, at all. I like romantic comedies and flowers and baking cakes. I'm a true girly-girl, excpet that I do like mowing the yard. If you do happen to be one of those kinds, celebrate it! You are every man's dream!
Well, my husband has tried and failed many a time to get a video game to hold my attention for more than a few measly minutes, but to no avail. However, this weekend was a turning point. We figured out that we can get online on our TV through the Wii thanks to the modern convenience of wireless connections. And, my precious man bought me this game! We played the day away, and it was fantastic! Alas [sigh], I'm "one of those girls who plays video games".

Oh man, am I with you on this one! I thought Super Mario 3 was the only game worth playing back in the day. In college I got into Tomb Raider but now that I have kids, no time for video games.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. Hope to see you there again and you'll be seeing me here too!

Very funny!:)
I am no good at video games.:(

But you'll be fine playing this one...you can still be girly....just stay away from those Star Wars and Star Trek conventions.;) That could just get too complicated.:)

I just sold my Super Mario 3 on CraigsList... it's a hot commodity! My boyfriend is obsessed with NCAA 09. Sometimes he won't call me all night and I am worried he hates me... and then I find out he was just so busy playing his stupid game!!! And... worst... I am the one who bought it for him! My sister in law says video games will be the reason they don't have any more children because Steven disappears in the other room for hours on end for his games!!!

Ugh, no games for me, either...I was never good at anything but pinball..my friends could play Pac Man and Space Invaders all afternoon at the arcade. I couldn't stand to go to those places...eek!

I wish you were my neighbor, I would love for you to go OCD/Organizing on my home;) I *used* to be organized, then I had children...

Have a great day...that Wii is fun, I don't know how to play but my son does...we are trying to find a Wii Fit, I might try that out if we can manage to find one :)

Oh I really liked this game too! I have only plaid the Wii a couple times, and did bowling and tennis, it was fun! I am not much of a video game person either. I'm adding you to my blog roll!

We don't have this one yet but I feel it coming on. I'm sure your husband is ecstatic!

We too have a wii, and quite a while back my husband downloaded every long lost game he had ever played growing up. My husband is a bit of a geek, so he knows about these sorts of things before they are released. Me, I could care less.

The only video game I play is Mario Party. Now that is a fun game!
