Black peppercorn and garlic grilled porkchops, onion soup diced potatoes, fresh broccoli topped with cheese sauce, and warm buttery crescent rolls, followed with cinnamon and brown sugar apple crisp. That was the challenge for last night.

I had to turn this:

Into this:

And this:

Into this:

So that we could do this:
On many a Friday night, you will find my family gathered around a table together. Usually it takes place at my mom and step-dad's house, but I thought it was time for me to share the wealth. After all, I do love to entertain. And, my mom hasn't been feeling like her usual self, so I wanted to take the burden from her. Here are some other pictures from the evening.
Storytime with Nana and Papa.

Who knew that napkin rings had many uses?
Couldn't resist a picture of our kiddos chewing on their rawhides.

And a picture of my cute husband after a night of entertaining. We were beat!

That looks like a good meal (I use Great Value too - so much cheaper and tastes just as good), and your table looks SO cute. I love that you put so many photos in your posts.
Thanks for the comment you left for me. You're right about the church thing, my husband and I have been talking about finding a church actually. We're planning on visiting one tomorrow. I do miss having the fellowship of other Christians. I'm just really shy and feel so awkward when I go somewhere where I don't know anyone. But I'm working through those issues and trusting that God will put us where He wants us.

Yummy, and your posting makes me miss eating dinner with my family. It doesn't matter if you live close or far away, life is so busy that we rarely find the time to do this. Good for you!

Thanks for the encouragement. I have a few neighbors helping with the initiation now, and I think I've gotten three more surveys:) Keep us in your prayers.

Your dogs look just like my Allie.
It looks like you are quite the hostess. The food looks delicious, and the table looks beautiful.

I can't wait until I can leave the house and visit with my friends and family. I'm ready to be normal again.:)

Have a lovely day.
God Bless,
